Day 1 – Arrival in Colombo and Transfer to Sigiriya
Your journey begins as you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative. From here, you’ll travel to Sigiriya, home to the awe-inspiring Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Known as the “Lion Rock,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site rises majestically from the jungle and is famous for its ancient frescoes, dramatic views, and fascinating history. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the adventures ahead.
Day 2 – Sigiriya to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, depart the cultural heartland and ascend into the cool, misty mountains of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England.” This charming town is known for its colonial-era architecture, sprawling tea plantations, and refreshing climate. On the way, you’ll pass lush greenery and cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing evening in this tranquil highland retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Day 3 – Exploring Nuwara Eliya
Spend the day discovering the delights of Nuwara Eliya. You may also take a leisurely boat ride on Lake Gregory or simply enjoy the crisp mountain air and serene landscapes that define this region.
Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya to Yala
This morning, you’ll journey south towards Yala, home to Sri Lanka’s most famous national park. Renowned for its high density of leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and an incredible variety of birdlife, Yala National Park offers thrilling safari experiences. In the afternoon, set out on an exhilarating game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes of forest, lagoon, and grassland, in search of its elusive wildlife.
Day 5 – Yala to Mirissa
After your morning safari or breakfast at leisure, continue your journey to the idyllic coastal town of Mirissa. Known for its pristine beaches and turquoise waters, Mirissa is also one of the best places in the world for whale and dolphin watching (seasonal). Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the ocean, swimming, or enjoying a fresh seafood meal with your toes in the sand.
Day 6 – Mirissa to Bentota
After a leisurely morning, travel up the scenic southern coast to Bentota, a beloved beach resort town famous for its wide sandy beaches, luxury hotels, and water sports. Day 7 – Bentota to Colombo
